Simon Smelt is a consultant in law and economics, public policy analysis and public sector reform. He uses the tools of comparative (or new) institutional economics and transaction cost analysis. He is New Zealand based and has expertise in the New Zealand government and economic reforms. He has also provided training in public policy analysis and management.
